These classes are for children
7–10 who have the maturity
to begin taking on additional
responsibilities with
the household dog.
The emphasis here is on
building the child’s
understanding of and empathy
for another living creature,
strengthening the bond
between child and dog
and boosting self-esteem.
We employ a mix of basic
obedience taught in a
way kids can relate to,
tricks for fun and prizes
for good behavior (both
child and dog!).
