Private instruction with
Big Apple Dog School is
completely tailored to
the needs of you and your
dog. While private instruction
can cost more per hour
than group classes, 100%
of our attention is on
you and your dog —
and nothing else —
whether we’re addressing
basic obedience or behavior
modification.
In tailoring a training
program, we can start
with the same curriculum
offered in our group classes:
Or we can address any specific,
individual issues that
are preventing you from
having the best time possible
with your dog, such as
strong pulling while walking
on leash, excessive barking
in the home, destructive
habits, house training,
fear of the outdoors,
separation anxiety, lunging
at other dogs, excessive
mouthing, etc.
All private instruction begins with an in-home evaluation, equipment inspection and discussion of basic training theory. Handouts supporting each session are provided, as is access via phone or e-mail for follow-up questions.
Our private instruction rate is $145/hour for individual sessions. We offer discounted rates through purchased packages: a 3-hour pack is $375 ($125/hour) and a 5-hour pack is $575 ($115/hour). All hours in a package must be used within six months of the purchase date.
